Little Ann, Ch. Kwetu's Glamorus Flame, was born in January of 2005. She has been a wonderful dog since I brought her home on Easter Sunday. She has been my shadow since puppyhood, and cries if there isn't a comfortable place for her to lie next to me. She finished her championship in less than 9 months, and only competed in 20 dog shows before earning her 15 points. Her first litter was a wonderful experience that started with a drive from St. Louis to New Jersey and back, and concluded with 6 wonderful puppies going to 6 wonderful homes. I kept Dixie from this litter so Little Ann would have someone to keep her company, and to keep her exercised and healthy. Little Ann was bred in late December and will be expecting her second litter in March, 2010.
Dixie, Kwetu's Flyer and Brimstone, turns out to have been named very appropriately. Of the three beautiful girls in the litter, I chose to keep Dixie because of her personality. She was always the puppy that was alert, and I could tell she was always thinking and figuring things out. She has no quit in her, and is always ready to play. She won a point in her first dog show, and placed 4th in her puppy class at the 2008 National Specialty.
